What is AntiVirus 360 and The Vundo Trojan?
If you have the Antivirus 360 program on your computer then you also have the Vundo Trojan. The reason that Antivirus 360 in on your computer in the first place. How it works, is the Vundo Trojan by means of pop up windows while you are browsing the internet slips into security leaks and holes in your browsers java program. More importantly it can only slip into java that has not been recently updated with the latest security patches. Once you click the link the trojan will stop showing pop ups nearly as much and start downloading a fake antivirus malware remover called AntiVirus 360. Once downloaded it will launch itself and begin to do a scan of your computer, and when it finishes it's scan it will list a random generated list of files claiming they are all infected with a virus or other malware. Problem is the files it's claiming to be infected are actually fine. Even worse is that the files it shows will contain system files that your computer needs to function or even turn on. Once it shows you the list it will prompt you to upgrade to the full version of the software to get rid of the files. Here's the kicker. There's actually nothing wrong with your computer. The only virus, trojan, malware on your computer is the programs telling you there's a problem. Mainly the Vundo Trojan and the AntiVirus 360 program. And if you pay for the full version and click the link to delete the fake infected files you will actually be deleting the files your computer needs to run and you won't be able to run your computer. And if you have a system backup disk and use it to install your system files again, and restart your computer the trojan and antivirus 360 program will still be there set to startup automatically when your computer starts up.

How to remove AntiVirus 360 and the Vundo Trojan for free.
Step 1:
Print these instructions. You will need to eventually close all windows, even this one, to get rid of the malware.
Step 2:
In order to cleanse your system and rid yourself of Antivirus 360 you must first get rid of the constant interference of the Vundo Trojan. The link below will download the program necessary to "kill" the trojan.

Step 3:
Once downloaded double click the rkill.com file. This will attempt to stop any process or program associated with the Vundo Trojan. Be patient while it does it job. It has to close many processes in your computer to be successful. Once it is finished, the black window will close. At this point DO NOT RESTART YOUR COMPUTER. Otherwise you'll cause the rkill.com file to start all over again.
Step 4:
Now you need to download the file that can actually get rid of the Antivirus 360 program. The program is called MalwareBytes. And it can do the job for free. Here's the malwarebytes link.

Step 5:
Once downloaded, close all windows on your computer. Including this one and double click on the MBAM-setup.exe on your desktop. This will begin the installation of Malwarebytes on your computer.
Step 6:
Keep following the prompts of the program, do not alter the default settings. Make sure you UNCHECK the update malwarebytes Anti Malware and Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware check boxes. Then click finish. It will ask you to rebook, and you should do so.
Step 7:
When your computer comes back up you may get a code 2 error. Don't worry about it. Just click ok and go to this address. http://MBAM.malwarebytes.org/program/random.php. Your browser will prompt you where to save it. Be sure you place it in this exact location. C:\program files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\ folder. Once it is downloaded then navigate to the program you just downloaded and double click it, and everything should start up. If you did not receive the code 2 error then the program already started up and you can skip step 7.
Step 8:
Before you start the scan, click on the update tab, and then click on check for Updates button. If there is an update it will automatically install it. Whether you have the newest version or you just installed the newest version in the end you will get a message saying you have the updated version and it's ok to continue.
Step 9:
Now click on the scanner button and make sure the Perform full scan option is selected and then click Scan to start.
Step 10:
MBAM (Malware Bytes) is now aggressively searching for all files related to AntiVirus 360 and the Vundo Trojan. The process will take some time, so please be patient.
When the scan completes a message box will come up saying the scan completed successfully. Click the Ok button to view the results.
Step 11:
You should be taken to the main scanner screen after which you should press the button Show Results. A screen will show you the results of your scan with a checkmark on the left of each result.
Step 12:
Click the Remove Selected button and MBAM will then proceed to quarantine and then delete all infected files. You'll be prompted to reboot, please do so, as it's not possible to delete some files while the operating system is in use.
Step 13:
Once rebooted MBAM will come up and give you the results of what it's done and may start to remove remaining malware. When it's finished you will know because it will open up a scan log in notepad. Save this file if you wish, but either way you can now close the MBAM window (if still open) and the notepad file.
Your computer should now be 100% free of the Vundo Trojan and the Antivirus 360 Program.
